Characteristic of Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA)

Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA) appearanced white powder or granular,tablet, it's chemical name  is trichloroisocyanuric acid and it's synonyms is Symclosene; 1,3,5-Trichloro-1-triazine-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-trione. The emergency oerview were outlined below: 
Frist, trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA) is very dangerous, we should careful storage. It belongs to strong oxidizer. Contact with other material may cause a fire. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or can be absorbed through the skin. It will causes eye, skin, and respiratory tract irritation. Contact with acids liberates toxic gas, so it shold store away from acidic substance. It also toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.  Hygroscopic (absorbs moisture from the air). Second, hazards: it's attack to many of human organs such as kidneys, liver, respiratory system, eyes, skin and etc.. It's potential health effects are: Eye, Causes eye irritation; Skin, Causes skin irritation; Harmful if absorbed through the skin; Ingestion, Harmful if swallowed. May cause irritation of the digestive tract; Inhalation, Harmful if inhaled. Causes respiratory tract irritation. Chronic, May cause liver and kidney damage.
Due to Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA) is very dangerous, once we get into poisoning we should take first aid measures immediately. Here are some tips: Eyes, Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid immediately; Skin, Get medical aid immediately. Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes; Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Get medical aid immediately. Call a poison control center; Inhalation, Get medical aid immediately. Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Do not use mouth-to-mouth resuscitation if victim ingested or inhaled the substance; induce artificial respiration with the aid of a pocket mask equipped with a one-way valve or other proper respiratory medical device.
