Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA) Bleaching Methods

Sections were incubated in 10 g/L Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA) solution for 30 minutes at room temperature. Samples were dipped up and down 10 times every 10 minutes. After 3 rinses in water, sections were incubated in PBS for 10 minutes at room temperature.
Samples containing melanin were treated according to the aforementioned potassium permanganate, potassium dichromate, or TCCA bleaching methods. Finally, the sections were counterstained with Mayer hematoxylin for 4 minutes. 
Dehydration was performed through 95% ethanol, 100% ethanol, cleared in xylene, and then mounted. Control sections of melanin-containing tissues were stained with Mayer hematoxylin for 4 minutes. Dehydration was performed through 95% ethanol, 100% ethanol, cleared in xylene, and then mounted.
In recent years, there are new and pioneering use of Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA), except for the sterilization of hospital, drinking water, cold drinks, sericulture, swimming pools, and etc.. In addition, further extended to seed disinfection, fish disease control, disinfection type detergent and surgical medicine, and other fields. First, for seed disinfection  Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA) (hereinafter referred to as TCCA) as a seed disinfectant, advantages are: (1) can improve seed germination rate of the seeds against fungi, bacteria, spores and particles have a strong killing ability.
